York Historic Environment Record

Between the 10th and 28th September 2018 York Archaeological Trust (YAT) conducted a Desk-Based Assessment (DBA) for the Former Minster Car Hire Garage, 111 Micklegate, York YO1 6LB (SE 5979 5150). The work was undertaken for TW Fields to help inform a future planning application. The work follows on from a borehole investigation carried out by YAT. Archaeological investigations in the vicinity of 111 Micklegate, York demonstrate the potential for well preserved, deeply stratified and complex deposits from the Roman to post-medieval periods.
