Phase 1 consisted of material dating from the 10th-11th Centuries, with evidence of 6 potential buildings, wicker and post fencing indicating a possible passageway, and deposits which suggest potential wool and leather working on site.

Phase 10 illustrates the complete demolition of a building on the site and alterations to other buildings on site, with possible evidence of splitting the previous blacksmithing workshop into two separate properties: a smithy and hall.

Phase 11 illustrates the redevelopment of building V and insertion of a well shaft in the former yard area.

Phase 12 sees the slight alteration of a building on site to be able to create an alleyway to allow access to the rear yard, with a brick latrine constructed on site, in addition to a new larger brick building close to the street frontage.

Phase 13 sees the division of one building on site into two tenements, andconstruction of wooden outbuilding in yard area, with evidence for insertion of drainage system.

Phase 2 consisted of material dating from the 10th-11th Centuries, with evidence of 2 potential buildings on site.

Phase 3 consisted of a number of dump deposits, possibly forming a bank or platform. Presence of a linear ditch or gully along the western face of the platform.

Phase 5 represents 12th century industrial activity, with a series of dump layers, the presence of a hearth, double kiln/oven, and linear features likely representing property boundaries.
