Full Description
Phase 12- Construction of building Z, a new 18th century brick building close to the Walmgate street fronatge, after much of this area terraced and cleared. Also evidence for a brick-built latrine behind building Z, and insertion of alleyway which used previous wall on site as eastern side. Building V was thus altered and made smaller on east side, giving access to rear yard behind buildings U and V. Brick surround and sandstone hearth plate inserted in building U on north side of chimney stack. Possible erection of shed to south of the latrine.
