Full Description

Phase 11- Redevelopment of building V (mid-late 17th century).
Insertion of well shaft in former yard area, remained open until 20th century. New back wall for building V constructed of limestone, extending building V into yard area. Substantial chimney stack inserted into building V, and hearth plate built south of hearth stack. Evidence that area of former building Y now integrated into the yard. Brick rubble footing constructed, possibly to extend the line of the wall into the new yard area. Further wall constructed of limestone, possibly part of an exterior privy.
