Summary

Originally constructed as a house in early/mid 19th century in several builds. Stucco with chimneys of exposed yellow brick. Front range has hipped slate roof. Formerly house, childrens home (St Stephens Childrens Home) then offices of Shepherd Homes currently Hotel du Vin.

Full Description

House, now offices. Early/mid C19 in several builds. Stucco with chimneys of exposed yellow brick. Front range has hipped slate roof.

EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and 6 bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes. Those in the 2nd and 5th bays are tripartite. The 4th bay contains a doorway with a heavy pilaster doorcase with panelled reveals and a dentilled cornice. Ridge chimney between 2nd and 3rd bays, and several chimneys behind ridge. A parallel range to the rear has a hipped slate roof. The 4-bay rear wall is of yellow brick and has glazing bar sashes. I
