Full Description

Shop. 1815-1820, with C20 alteration. Red brick in Flemish bond, with orange-red brick dressings; steel shopfront. Timber modillion eaves cornice to slate mansard roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and attic; 2-window front. Entrance in shopfront. On first and second floors, windows are 12-pane sashes with painted stone sills and flat arches of gauged brick. Tie rod end embossed with fleur-de-lys between second floor windows. INTERIOR: not inspected. (City of York: RCHME: South-west of the Ouse: HMSO: 1972-: 124).
