Description
This desk-based assessment has been compiled in order to assess the potential for
archaeological remains to exist on land to the east of Moor Lane, Copmanthorpe, York; and the possible impact of development proposals.
A survey of the evidence from the study area indicates that the site may contain
archaeological remains and it is recommended that a programme of geophysical survey and trial trenching will be required to determine the extent of archaeological deposits within the site.
