York Historic Environment Record

This document sets out a strategy for the implementation of a programme of archaeological evaluation and mitigation at Whinthorpe, York. The site has been proposed as a strategic allocation in the City of York Local Plan, intended to be the site of a new, free-standing settlement outside the York ring road. This is intended to be a live document that will be updated as significant points in the archaeological investigation and/or planning process have been reached.
