Description
Test-pit community archaeology exercise, St Paul's primary school and local residents
Research goal will be to find some evidence for the Roman road or roadside cemetery. Proposal to excavate 1m by 1m test pits excavated to natural, or in the unlikely event we hit the Roman road or burials, stopping there and leaving the archaeology in-situ.
Findings will be reported in a standard Aecern Archaeology report, and an OASIS entry will be created
