Description
During March 1998 a watching brief was undertaken on a section of the city wall, between chainage points 3416 and 3479, which was being refurbished. This refurbishment work consisted of the removal and resetting of loose stones and the replacement of damaged blocks alongside the general re-pointing of the wall.
