Abstract/Summary
On 24th and 25th July 2002 York Archaeological Trust carried out a watching brief during the hand excavation of a trench in the front garden of 13 Dewsbury Terrace, York (NGR SE 59915140) which was carried out in order to locate and repair a section of collapsed foul water drain. Nothing of archaeological significance was observed during this watching brief. The garden area inspected had been disturbed to the full depth of the sewer by sewer and house construction activities.
