No archaeological deposits or features were recorded within any of the trenching. At the front of the site in the northeastern corner, the presence of a late (18th or 19th century) horticultural layer directly above the natural sand indicate that early deposits were landscaped away at that time and this process significantly truncated the medieval and any earlier stratigraphy.
