The survey was undertaken to record of the historic elements of the single storey out-building prior to redevelopment to create a one bedroom flat within two additional floors of accommodation. The building shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map of 1852 and although it has undergone numerous alterations during the later 19th and 20th centuries elements of the original historic fabric were recorded that possibly date to the early 18th century.
