Abstract/Summary
The Building Record was on the gymnasium building constructed in c. 1937-1942,
formerly part of Burton Stone Secondary Modern School of Girls (also known as
Water Lane High School for Girls) and was converted into a community centre in
1980s. The gymnasium was a one storey structure constructed in red-brick and
concrete with a flat roof, sun deck and chimney in Art Moderne style.
