Full Description

House. Designed 1846 by JB and W Atkinson. Brick with painted stone dressings and hipped slate roof.

EXTERIOR: symmetrical, of 2 storeys and 3 bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes with painted rusticated stone lintels which have false keystones. The sill of the central window on the 1st floor has been raised and the sash replaced by a C20 casement. The 4-panel door has an overlight with diagonal glazing and is set within a timber pilaster doorcase with panelled reveals. The cornice of the doorcase has been altered in the C20 to conceal plumbing. Chimneys to left and right.
