Full Description

Two houses. Mid C19. Brick with some painted stone dressings. Slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys above cellars. Each house 2 bays. On the ground floor each house has a canted bay window with modillioned cornice to the right, on a stone base which contains a cellar window opening. The 1st floor windows have a sill band, and sashes divided into square panes. The doorways, at the left of each house, have doorcases with panelled pilasters, panelled reveals, modillioned cornices, and doors of 4 panels with overlights, divided into 2 square panes. No.39 has a boxed timber gutter carried on square brackets, and No.38 has a plastic gutter. Chimneys in front of ridge to the right of each house. INTERIORS: not inspected.
