Full Description

House, now shop and offices. Late C18, remodelled in C20. Orange-buff brick in Flemish bond with timber modillioned guttering and hipped pantile roof. EXTERIOR: 3-storey 3-window front. Margin-glazed and panelled door with overlight, flanked by inserted small-pane canted bay windows, beneath continuous moulded cornice. First floor windows are 12-pane sashes over painted stone sill band; on second floor, squat 6-pane sashes, centre one blocked, with painted stone sills. All windows have flat arches of orange rubbed brick. Fluted inverted bell rainwater head, initialled PA SP TY, dated 1775. Left return: tripartite small-pane shop window beneath keyed flat arch. Blocked first floor window with flat arch, over sill band returned from front; replacement 6-pane window with sill and arch on second floor. INTERIOR: not inspected.
