Full Description

Stable block to Stockton Hall (qv). c1800. Brick in Flemish bond, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 9 bays. Central bay and paired outer bays break forward slightly. Central elliptical-arched double door flanked by 6-panel doors and 16-pane sashes. First floor: 8-pane sashes with alternate windows blocked. Cambered brick arches throughout. Hipped roof. Central bell turret with clock to base and bell housed beneath dome carried on fluted columns surmounted by weathervane.
