Summary

A Medieval field system of ridge and furrow in the parish of Fulford is visible as earthworks on air photographs. Most of the ridge and furrow appears levelled on later photographs, but some areas survive as earthworks on photographs taken in 1986 and 1987. Created as a parent record for existing R&F monument entries.

Full Description

A Medieval field system of ridge and furrow in the parish of Fulford is visible as earthworks on air photographs. Most of the ridge and furrow appears levelled on later photographs (SE 629 474, SE 623 482, SE 613 481, SE 618 493), but some areas survive as earthworks on photographs taken in 1986 and 1987 (SE 605 475, SE 620 495).
