Monument record MYO4967 - Waterlogged Anglo-Scandinavian deposits

Summary

A watching brief at a lift shaft being dug for the Hardings store at 5-7 Coppergate in 1974 found waterlogged deposits of Anglo-Scandinavian date in which were preserved leather offcuts from a nearby leather working site. There was no evidence of associated structures.
