Full Description

oach-house and stables with range of farm buildings to right of no particular interest. Late C18 - early C19. Pinkish-brown brick with ashlar dressings, colour-washed and rendered, and Welsh slate roof. 2-storey, 2- bay centre with projecting single-storey, single-bay wings. Centre: 2 elliptical carriage arches with double plank doors. First floor band. Casement windows under flat arches of gauged brick. Central blind opening. Ashlar sills. Clock rises at centre with pediment and ramped sides. Hipped roof. Central domed bell tower. Wings have central recessed round arches containing casement windows. Inner facades have elliptical-arched plank stable doors. Separate hipped roofs, that to right surmounted by pyramidal ventilator. Interior: stalls by Teale and Somers, Leeds.
