A constructed pile of uncut stone with bronze name plaque sited above the river. 1945-1950. This unusual style is one of only two in the country. It is part of the Village history and the focal point for Remembrance Day Part of the village street scene. Nominated for inclusion on the Local List of Heritage Assets.
