Full Description

MOAT WAS FOUND TO HAVE HAD 2 BUILDING. ONE HAD COB WALLS AND WAS A SUBSTANTIAL BUILDING. THE OTHER SOUTHERN BUILDING WAS LESS SUBSTANTIAL AND WAS PROBABLY ANCILLARY BUILDING TO THE HALL TO THE NORTH POTTERY WAS 11TH TO 12TH CENTURY. THE MOAT WAS TIED INTO THE FIELD SYSTEM.

A small dry homestead moat situated on pasture land. No building
foundations are visible on the central platform. Resurveyed at 1/2500.No local information was found. (2)
Condition unchanged. (3)
The area now built upon by housing estate. Thesite is not recorded on current 1:10000 map. (4)
