Summary

Management and alteration of the natural springs. Field 9: Concentration of waterholes in Trench 2)- represented by several pits & pit features isolated waterholes within Field 8- represented by several pits & pit features The level of water management is illustrated by the use of hollowed out log cylinders , which were presumably used to delay the collapse of the natural sand edges of the waterholes, but may also have allowed a degree of separation of “clean” areas of water.
