Summary

A possible double-ditched enclosure of Iron Age or Roman date was seen as cropmarks on air photographs. The enclosure appears have some internal features and may represent a settlement. There is another possible enclosure to the north-west of the main enclosure with which it may be associated.

NMR Information:

A possible double-ditched enclosure of Iron Age or Roman date was seen as cropmarks on air photographs. The enclosure appears have some internal features and may represent a settlement. There is another possible enclosure to the north-west of the main enclosure with which it may be associated. The main enclosure is approximately 60m wide, centred at SE 6667 5721. (1)
