Monument record MYO3561 - Naburn Iron Age Square Barrows

Summary

Two Iron Age square barrows were seen as cropmarks on air photographs. One of the barrows has an elongated, offcentre pit which may represent a grave pit. There may be other square barrows in the vicinity as there are other possible pits nearby. However, the appearance of the field is so mottled on available photography that it is difficult to define other clear examples.
