Monument record MYO2265 - Plantation Tannery
Summary
Plantation Tannery and Plantation House (MYO2266) were established, possibly as early as 1838. The first edition Ordnance Survey map (1852) shows tightly-packed tanning pits occupying much of the site with a number of further structures. These include an engine house, water tank, and a number of long rectangular buildings in the eastern, southern and central parts of the site.
