Full Description

Shop and offices. Mid C19. Painted brick with concrete tiled roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. Main building 3 bays flanked by rusticated quoin strips, with a 4th bay above a carriageway to the right. The windows to the upper storeys are sashed with segmental brick arches. The main building has a C20 shopfront, between pilasters with brackets which support a cornice. The carriageway entrance has a flat lintel beneath a segmental brick arch. At the eaves there are 3 moulded brackets, and a corbel table which differs in its detail above the 4th bay suggesting a possible difference in build. Gable chimney at right and axial chimney towards left, both in front of ridge. INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for group value with other buildings on Blossom Street.
