Full Description

House, now 2 shops. Mid C18, altered C19 and C20. Brick, painted at left and rendered at right. Plain tile roof.

EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic and two bays. No.8, at the left, has a storey band, partly covered by a sign board. The 1st floor windows are sashed. The attic is lit by a dormer at the right with a horizontal sliding sash. No.8 has a wide shop window, and a door at the right with timber architrave. No.10 has a shopfront of c1900 with a recessed door at the right. The timber gutter is carried on rectangular brackets. INTERIOR: not inspected.

Houses, Nos. 8, 10, were built probably as one dwelling in the mid 18th century. The building is of two storeys with a plat-band at first-floor level; the ground floor has been converted to shops.
