Full Description

Public house, now shop. 1840-1850, with later alteration. Painted brick in Flemish bond, with stucco frieze, eaves cornice and parapet; hipped pantile roof. EXTERIOR: 3-storey 2-window front. Double shopfront of panelled pilasters and dentil cornice between grooved brackets. 12-pane sashes on first floor, and unequal 9-pane sashes on second floor, all with painted stone sills and painted flat arches. Flat eaves band, moulded cornice and plain parapet obscuring roof. To right, rainwater goods with rectangular hopper and fleur-de-lys clamps. INTERIOR: not inspected.
