House, No. 81, now a shop, of brick with pantiled roofs, has a three-storeyed front elevation of two periods; the N. half was built in the early 18th century, originally one bay wide but later altered on the first floor; the S. half, two bays wide, is of the early 19th century; across the whole frontage is a modern shop front.
