Full Description

Pair of houses, now guesthouses. Brick with hipped slate roof. EXTERIOR: main block symmetrical, of 3 storeys and 4 bays. Recessed side wings to left and right contain entrances and are of 2 storeys. The main block has 2 canted bay windows on the ground floor, glazed in square panes. These carry a 1st floor balcony, with anthemion railings remaining to No.122. The windows to the upper storeys have painted rusticated lintels and are sashed in large square panes with shallow upper sashes. The right-hand wing, to No.120, has 3 round-headed 1st floor windows with a sill band, an attic dormer, a window at the right on the ground floor, and a painted stuccoed entrance at the left. This has a 3-panel door with overlight, flanking lights with pilasters, and a porch with cornice. The left-hand entrance wing is similar, except that it has 2 round-headed 1st floor windows, and a parapet with cast-iron cresting. Chimneys to left and right of main block. INTERIOR: not inspected.
