Full Description

Two houses. c1845-50. Brick with painted stone dressings. Slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attics and cellars. Each house 2 bays, with a canted bay window to the left on the ground floor, painted white and with a casement window facing forwards. The 1st floor windows are glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches. No.90 has a dormer with a pitched roof, and a cellar window with glazing bars. No.88 has a flat-roofed C20 dormer, and a casement window lighting the cellar. Each house has a pilaster doorcase in its right-hand bay, and a 4-panel door with a plain rectangular overlight. The gutter is carried on shaped timber brackets. Shared chimneys to left and right and between houses. INTERIOR: not inspected. (RCHME: City of York: London: 1972-: 126).
