Full Description

House. 1938-9. By Rutherford and Symes. Red brick with ashlar dressings, plain tile hipped roofs and 4 brick stacks. Moulded brick plinth, rusticated brick quoins and brick dentilled first-floor band. EXTERIOR: 2 storey, 7 window front, with 5 window centre and slightly projecting single window wings. Central doorway with panel door and fanlight has ashlar surround with Roman columns and open pediment, either side are two 15-pane sashes. Above a central 16-pane sash flanked by two 12-pane sashes. Either side the wings each have a broad 20-pane sash on the ground floor and a broad 16-pane sash above, the upper windows are flanked by blind circular panels. Irregular service wing to rear right. INTERIOR: not inspected.
