Full Description

Walls, railings, gates and gate posts forming boundary to front garden of No.20 (qv). c1840 with some later alteration. Wall of red brick, some in English garden-wall bond, some in random brick; low wall has cambered stone coping, high wall soldier brick coping. Railings, gates and gate posts of cast-iron. Part of wall is approximately .75 metres high, part approximately 1.75 metres high set back and forming recessed bay closed by horizontal railings. Wall railings are turned and have onion finials; gates of similar railings with dog bars. Gate posts raised on tall square section pedestals are turned and have bulbous bases and ball and pedestal finials. Included for group value as an integral part of No.20, Cumberland House (qv).
