Full Description
Includes: No.1 JOHN SAVILLE COURT. Pair of houses. c1840 with earlier origins; renovated c1985. Front of orange-grey mottled brick in Flemish bond, rear incorporates orange brickwork in random bond; stuccoed window lintels and timber guttering; tiled roof at front, pantile at rear; brick stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey 4-window front. Carriage arch and two doorcases have reeded jambs: arch has frieze with grooved keyblock, doorcases beaded friezes beneath flat cornice hoods on reeded consoles. All windows are 12-pane sashes with painted sills and channelled wedge lintels with grooved keyblocks. Moulded eaves guttering on paired modillions.

Houses, Nos. 3, 5, 7, of two storeys and attics, were built c. 1830 as a pair, with a through-carriageway between them. Later in the 19th century the E. house was divided into two. An earlier wall, of 17th or 18th-century date, is incorporated into the back. The windows have segmental heads
