Description

A ground penetrating radar survey was successfully completed across three target rooms, where conditions permitted. The composition of the floor, consisting of a thick concrete layer reinforced by rebar, has impacted the depth of signal penetration across the site. However, the geophysical results have recorded possible structural remains below this. A buried surface post-dating these structural remains has been detected and is likely to be a final levelling episode prior to the erection of the current building. In addition, the survey has detected a small portion of another buried surface in one of the deepest layers.
