Description
NMR:
Dendrochronological analysis was undertaken on samples taken from roof timbers and jetty joists at this range of buildings, resulting in the dating of a single site sequence. Site sequence YRKMSQ01 contains samples from 12 roof timbers and one jetty joist and spans the period 1301-98. Interpretation of the sapwood suggests felling of all dated timbers occurred in 1398 with construction likely to have occurred shortly after. Two further site sequences are undated
