Museum accession code: 1981.1026.In its original form this record carried the NGR SE 6015 5907. This, however, represents a point some distance to the N of York. It has thus been conjectured (no access being availableto the archival sources listed in the bibliography) that this represents a mistranscription, possibly of SE 6015 5097(which would place the site at the northern end of theBishopthorpe Road).
