Description
Archaeological evaluation was carried out by OSA and Dunnington Through the Ages Archaeology Group. A large portion of the site was taken up by gravel quarrying works of 19th century date. Shallow pits and furrows of similar date were also excavated. One Iron Age ditch was recorded. Pottery and associated finds from the prehistoric, Medieval, post-medieval and modern periods were recovered.
