Description

The site became playing fields in 1937 and a small pavilion being built in the north east corner of the site in 1938. The present pavilion was built between late 1930s-late 1940’s, first depicted on the 1948-1952 edition Ordnance Survey map. The central block is a brick two storey structure with two single storey wings either side. The building designed in simple Arts and Craft Style with timber covered veranda/loggia below half timber framed projecting first floor gable dormer.
