Description
Watching brief during the construction of a replacement boathouse. The investigation revealed a ditch of probable Roman date sealed by alluvial deposits. A
number of medieval features were also revealed that included a pit and post hole dated to the
mid-11th – mid 13th centuries and a series of linear features of undetermined function possibly
of a 13th to 14th century date.
