Description

NMR Information: Two Roman temporary camps surviving in part as earthworks and as crop-marks. Surveyed at 1:1000 in November 1989 by RCHME Newcastle using EDM methods. The NMR archive holds pencil field sheets and unfinished inked drawings for both camps. The sites will be published as Bootham Stray 1 and 2 in RCHME 1995 Roman Camps in England (HMSO).
