Description
WB on land to the rear of 33 Bootham.
A rectangular area in the south-eastern corner was stripped to a depth of 650mm by an 8-tonne rubber tracked excavator (Plate 1). A further area in the south-west corner was also stripped to a similar depth. No evidence of any deposits pre-dating the 19th century was seen during archaeological monitoring.
