Description

Excavation of area c. 20m x 5m which included burials ahead of the construction of a retaining wall for an underground car park. The initial area was expanded to include the footprint of an adjacent residential block. NMR: Excavation ahead of residential development revealed marginal Romanactivity as well as a hollow-way possibly originating in the pre-Conquestperiod and later medieval structures.
