Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by On-Site Archaeology Limited, in July 2017, during groundworks associated with the construction of a two storey rear annexe to replace an existing garage building at 64 Bootham, York. The watching brief was undertaken to satisfy a condition attached to the development. The investigation comprised the monitoring of mechanical excavation of foundation trenching. This was up to 0.60m wide and a maximum of 0.90m deep. The archaeological investigation did not reveal any archaeological deposits or finds.
