Desktop Assessment prepared on behalf of Yorkshire House Development One Ltd to assist with consideration of development proposals for the site of Yorkshire House, Station Road/Rougier Street, York. The proposed development is to involve the conversion of an existing office block to a hotel, to include the construction of a rear extension. The current development proposal is for the conversion of Yorkshire House office block into a 124 bed hotel with 49 serviced hotel suites to the rear within a rear extension and an additional top floor. The scope of archaeological mitigation will be agreed with the City of York Council Archaeologist.
