Description
Six Stanchion Pits were excavated in the area of hardstanding and two
were located in an area of grass. The overburden was removed to
reveal clean natural sand in the base of the pits. No archaeological
finds or features were uncovered during the construction works.
No archaeological finds or features were noted during the groundworks
for the Waste Transfer Station Building.
