York Historic Environment Record

Between July 23rd and August 6th 2014 York Archaeological Trust undertook a watching brief at Fulford School, Fulfordgate, York. The objective was to record any deposits, features or buried structures exposed during works associated with the construction of a new electricity substation and associated supply and distribution trenches around the school. The site does not lie within any of the City of York Areas of Archaeological Importance and the watching brief was required as a condition of planning.
