Description

Late 2nd century cut features. Massive early 3rd century stone wall foundation aligned north-south, with west return at south end; this alignment is way off the standard ordinal Roman alignment. Probably robbed in late 3rd/early 4th century. 4th century rubbish pits. Truncated by Modern features. SE59825149
